Actress Cindy Amadi has passed away

The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, mourns the loss of one of its talented stars, Cindy Amadi, who gained recognition for her role in the acclaimed lesbian-themed movie, ‘Ife’. The sad news of her passing was confirmed by the producers of the movie in a statement posted on their Instagram page.

In a heartfelt message, they expressed their deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Cindy Amadi, who portrayed the character Adaora in the movie ‘Ife’. The statement reads:

“We are profoundly and profoundly saddened to hear about the passing of the actress Cindy Amadi, who played Adaora in #ìféthemovie.

“We cannot fathom the pain and grief that her family is experiencing right now. On behalf of our entire cast and crew, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, offering them all the comfort and support they need during this difficult time.
