Actress Doris Ogala alleges Pastor Chris Okafor promised marriage, abandons her for another woman

Famous Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly accused the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, popularly known as the Generational Prophet, of betraying her after allegedly promising to marry her.

Ogala made the allegation in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, reacting to a viral clip showing Okafor proposing to another woman.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the video of the clergyman’s engagement surfaced online over the weekend and quickly sparked reactions on social media.

Visibly distressed, the actress claimed she had been in an intimate relationship with Okafor since 2017. She expressed shock and anger over the engagement, alleging that she had made significant sacrifices for him, including giving him money, only for him to abandon her.

In the video, Ogala questioned why Okafor chose another woman after, according to her, assuring her of marriage. She alleged that her life had taken a negative turn since her involvement with the cleric, linking a series of personal tragedies to the relationship.

The actress further claimed that sensitive materials involving her were shared without her consent and alleged that she suffered a miscarriage during the relationship. She insisted that Okafor’s new relationship would not succeed, stating that she was still battling emotional and psychological trauma from their past.

Ogala also revealed that she recently struggled with suicidal thoughts, lamenting that many people were unaware of what she was going through. She accused the cleric of ruining her life and abandoning her despite everything they allegedly shared.

As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations.
