The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, receives with shock the news of the passing of Idoma-born and veteran Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, which sad event happened on Sunday night in Delta State.
Senator Moro in a statement by his media aide, Ameh Godwin, says the death of the thespian who recently lost her only daughter to the cold hands of death is heart-breaking and very painful.
He says Ada was a worthy Constituent who projected and promoted Idoma culture through her movies and in the movie industry, and was very instrumental to the entry of many young Idoma men and women into the industry.
The Senator says the death of the screen diva is a huge loss to the Nigerian motion industry, the Idoma nation, Benue State and Nigeria at large.
He prays for the repose of her soul while asking God to give her immediate family, Idoma community, colleagues and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
