The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated committees on rebranding and constitution review as part of efforts to strengthen its internal structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
National Publicity Secretary of the party, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, announced the development while briefing journalists after the inaugural meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Tuesday in Abuja.
Abdullahi said the NWC also approved the establishment of Policy Advocacy and Membership Registration committees to drive the party’s reform agenda.
He added that the committee fixed the Ekiti State primary elections for October 10 to November 20, while those of Osun State would hold between November and December 2025.
“In view of the fact that many of the states have only the chairmen in place, the NWC will introduce transitional operational guidelines to manage party affairs ahead of the forthcoming congresses,” Abdullahi said.
