Admission into Baseline Advance College of Arts, Science and Technology, Otukpa (APPLY)
Baseline Advance Collegeof Arts, Science and Technology (BACASTECH), Otukpa in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State invites Applications from suitable qualified candidates for admission into Preliminary, Pre-Degree, IJMBE, and Diploma studies for the 2016/2017 academic session.
❶ The preliminary programme is for candidates with O’ level deficiencies, seeking a remedy through O’ level examination conducted by accredited public examination bodies like WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB. Candidates will be required to register in the school to write any of the examination of their choice.
❷ The pre-degree programme is for candidates who already possess university admission requirements, and seek to undergo a one year pre-degree study, to prepare them for admission into 100 level programme to any university in Nigeria. During this programme, candidates are to sit for JAMB/UTME in order to qualify them for 100 level admission. The programme will be available in Arts/Humanities, Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Engineering and Law.
Candidates for this study must possess at least, five(5) credit passes at not more than two sittings at the SSCE/GCE or its equivalent.
❸ The IJMBE programme is for candidates who have good grade at a sitting and already possess university admission requirements, which seek a direct entry admission into 200 level degree programme to any university in Nigeria. The programme will be available in Sciences, Arts, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences, in combination of three subjects as required by the course of study. E.g combination of law is government/crk/Literature-in-English, while combination for medicine is Chemistry/Biology/Physics. Candidates for this programme must possess five(5) credit passes at a sitting including mathematics and English Language.
❹ Diploma courses available include: Theatre arts( performing and media arts), Accounting/Auditing, Computer Science, Microbiology, Office Technology Management, entrepreneurship studies, Business Management, Public Administration, Mass Communication, Information and Communication Technology(ICT), Health and Community Studies, security Operations Management, Law/Legal studies, Engineering( building, Electrical and mechanical), Architectural Design, Disaster and Emergency Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Quantity Survey, Estate Management, Entertainment, Sociology, Transportation Management, Peace and Conflict Management, Human Conflict Management and Business Development Studies. Candidates for this programme must possess four(4) credit passes including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
METHOD OF APPLICATION Candidates seeking for admission into BACASTECH, are required to complete the institution’s application form available atwww.bacastech.edu.ngwith effect from 11th July, 2016, after they must have obtained a confirmation pin from any of the under listed banks.
