An Idoma- born billionaire, serial entrepreneur, Philanthropist and president of the Peter Adejoh Foundation, Dr. Peter Adejoh has called for urgent youth empowerment to save Nigeria from doom.

Dr. Adejoh made the call on Thursday at the launch of the book “The 4 Biographies that can inspire your greatness” a book authored by an Idoma-born writer, Mr. Apeh Peter hot, held at Merit House, Abuja.

Dr. Adejoh stated that only youth empowerment can take the Idoma nation, Benue, and Nigeria forward and bring her out of its present economic situation.

The philanthropist disclosed that he places a high premium on youth empowerment, which is why 69 percent of the workforce in his organizations are youths below the age of 35 years.

He said if youths are empowered both mentally and economically, Nigerians achieve the desired great nation we all yearn and crave for.

Adejoh stated that statistically, seventy percent of Nigeria’s population was made up of young people, and until something very urgent and intentional is done about high youth unemployment rate, Nigeria is heading for doom.
He stressed that only human development can lead to socio-economic development of the country.

Dr. Adejoh who was the guest speaker at the book launch expressed satisfaction with the great work done by the author of the book, Mr Peterhot.

The serial entrepreneur charged youths as agents of change to be
intentional about developing themselves through the needed education, adding that the most dangerous people in any society are the uneducated young population”.

On the 2023 general elections, Dr. Adejoh encouraged Nigerians to elect better leaders as the choices they make will determine the level of development of the country in the next 4-8 years.

He concluded with a popular slogan, “We only rise by lifting others”.
