Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has strongly criticized music producer Samklef for his recent comments regarding his wife, Simi.
Samklef sparked controversy on Sunday with social media posts reminiscing about his past interactions with Simi and other musicians, claiming Simi and Ric Hassani were ungrateful for his contributions to their careers. He also alleged that Simi set him up for social media backlash and demanded a public apology from her.
Adekunle Gold swiftly intervened, rebuking Samklef for involving his wife in public discourse. He emphasized that Simi owed Samklef no apology and urged him to take responsibility for his own actions. Additionally, Adekunle Gold advised Samklef to exhibit maturity and refrain from publicly calling out his wife.
In a direct message to Samklef, Adekunle Gold asserted, “Simi doesn’t owe you anything, and it’s time you stopped mentioning her name unnecessarily. If anything, you owe me! Act your age and stop behaving foolishly!”
