Ademola Lookman nominated for 2024 Globe Soccer Awards

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the prestigious 2024 Globe Soccer Awards.

The nominees were revealed on Thursday via X (formerly Twitter), with Lookman joining global superstars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Erling Haaland.

The 27-year-old, who finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings, is also a contender for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.

Lookman has enjoyed an outstanding year, impressing for both club and country. He netted three goals in seven appearances for Nigeria during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.

Additionally, he made history with a hat-trick for Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.
