Adewale Adeyinka leaves Kwara United, nears move to Ethiopian Coffee

Goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka has bid farewell to Nigerian club Kwara United as his contract with the team expired. The two parties were unable to reach an agreement on a contract extension, leading to his departure from the club.

Adeyinka’s departure comes after a successful stint with Kwara United, where he established himself as a reliable shot-stopper. During the 2022/23 season, he kept five clean sheets, showcasing his prowess between the posts.

However, his time at Kwara United was marred by a foot injury he sustained towards the end of the season, which kept him sidelined for five weeks. Despite the setback, Adeyinka remained determined and performed admirably for the team.

Following his departure from Kwara United, the talented goalkeeper is currently in negotiations with Ethiopian club Ethiopian Coffee. The move to Ethiopian Coffee would mark a new chapter in Adeyinka’s career as he seeks to continue his development as a goalkeeper.
