The Executive chairman of Ado LG Hon James Oche and his Vice, Solomon Aboh who is also Supervisory Councilor today joined the LGA team in an advocacy to Akpoge-ogbilolo ward in Ado LG for the sensitization on usage for subsequent distribution of treated mosquito nets.
Owing to security confrontations, the ward is said to most witness low impact in programmes of high benefits especially in the area of health.
He also stressed the need to cooperate with the LGA team in order to ensure that everyone partakes in the use of the Insecticide Treated Nets (ITN) and said it was the last day for the distribution of the net cards
The Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) campaign is an initiative of the Roll Back Malaria programme which seeks to rid Nigeria of Malaria.
Recap that over 1.5 Million Nigerians are said to get sick of malaria every year and malaria still keeps the record of the ailment with the highest number of mortality in Africa.
The Director of Health Ado LGA stressed that, this advocacy is the first of its kind in the LG and assured the Chairman of maximum cooperation as a way to solving some of the health issues encountered by the people.
