Ado: John Ngbede honoured in Igumale, inaugurates Aluna-led PDP Exco

The Ado Local Government Executive Council led by the Chairman, James Oche yesterday conferred honorary citizenship of Ado on the Benue State PDP Chairman, Hon. John Ngbede.

The conferment took place at the Local Government Secretariat in Igumale where the Chairman and other members of the State Executive Council visited to inaugurate the Ado Exco of the Party.

Speaking at the event, James Oche who welcomed the State Exco on behalf of the Ado people appreciated the Hon. John Ngbede for his commitment to the development of the party which was responsible for the positive results recoded across the state. He further said the party in Ado took example from Ngbede’s leadership style, hence the less incidence of party crisis and also said he would do everything to assist the growth of the party in Ado and beyond.

Steven Aluna was inaugurated as Ado Local Government Chairman of the PDP with Moses Ojah as Secretary and Omninyi Otse as Vice Chairman alongside other members.

Present at the event were the Benue State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon Ekpe Ogbu, the State PDP Legal Adviser, Barr Clement Mue who administered the oath of office, Hon. Jane Ede Special Adviser to the Governor, Hon Andrew Ugbala Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Chief Attah Obande.

Others were Hon. Mrs Abeje Egwa the PDP State Women Leader, aides of the Chairman as well the Ado Legislative Council and Other members of the State Executive Council.
