Ado Local Government receives Health team, appreciates Gov. Ortom

Ado Local Government Council today received a team of health experts from the Benue State Government. The team was made up of Dr Ogwuche John from Benue State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi, Mr Apinage Aonduwase and Mrs comfort Akaan from the Benue State Ministry of Health.

The Team are in Ado Local Government for Health Assessment and Intervention Programme of Governor Samuel Ortom Administration.

Dr Ogwuche who is the leader of the team in his address said they were at the LGA to visit all medical facilities to interface with all stakeholders in the health sector, evaluate the state of each facility and make proper recommendations on how best the State Government can intervene to provide succour to the pressing needs.

Ado Council Chairman Hon. James Oche ably represented by his Vice Chairman, Hon. Solomon Ogbu Aboh thanked His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom for his robust health policy that offered the council the opportunity for support of the visiting delegation and adduced that, ‘a healthy society is a wealthy society.’

The Council Vice Chairman immediately swing into action, met with HOD of Health, the Local Government Coordinator of Net Program, and they took the delegation round the local government to evaluate progress of the ongoing Net Campaign Programme.
