Ado Local Government Chairman, Hon. James Oche has assured families of the persons missing within the local government that his administration was working assiduously to uncover their whereabouts and bring those behind their disappearance to answer the call of justice.
Oche stated this yesterday in Apa Ward when he visited the community to condole with them over the tragic incident. Speaking, Oche maintained his administration’s intolerable disposition to all forms of criminality and urged youths within the area to shun the likelihood of taking laws into their hands. He intimated the people that serious undercover security steps were being taken and sooner than later they would have a cause to smile over the issue.
The meeting was attended by the traditional rulers, youths, women, Okada riders and sundry persons.
Reacting, Mr. Ogaba Godwin, who responded on behalf of families of the missing persons appreciated the Chairman’s commitment over the issue and said they were hopeful that something good would come from the concerted efforts.
In separate though similar remarks, Chief Moses Obande, the Ward Head of Apa Ward, Pius Ogezi for the Okada Union and the youth Leader Sunday Otokpa all appreciated the Chairman for his passionate commitment to issues of concern to his people. They prayed that the chairman’s efforts would yield positive results and also promised to maintain law and order while waiting on constituted authority.
On the chairman’s entourage were his Chief of Staff, Sunday Aboh, Commander of the Homeland Defense Volunteers Front, Mr. Abraham Ochoga and the Ward Councilor.
