AFCON: 10 countries that have qualified for Round of 16 [Full list]

10 teams have now confirmed their spots in the Round of 16 following the conclusion of matches in Groups C and D on Tuesday night.

Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal, Cape Verde, Egypt, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Angola, Guinea, and Mauritania have all earned their places in the knockout stage.

Cameroon staged a comeback to defeat Gambia 3-2, setting up a clash with Nigeria in the next round.

Angola secured a 2-0 victory over Burkina Faso, with both teams finishing as the top two in Group D.

Mauritania upset Algeria with a 1-0 victory to claim the third spot. Both Mauritania and Guinea from Group C will progress as two of the best third-placed teams.

The knockout stages are set to kick off on Saturday, January 27, promising intense football action as these teams vie for glory in the prestigious tournament.
