AFCON 2023: Ademola Lookman scores four as Super Eagles beat Al Gharbia FC 12-0

The Super Eagles secured a resounding 12-0 victory against Al Gharbia FC, a local team based in Dubai, during a training match in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Ademola Lookman led the scoring with four goals, while Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon each contributed a brace. Sadiq Umar, Ahmed Musa, and two own goals completed the dozen-goal rout.

The one-sided encounter showcased an aggressive Super Eagles team that dominated their opponent throughout the match. The opposition, Al Gharbia FC, plays in the third division and fielded a Nigerian midfielder.

The official X account of Al Gharbia FC acknowledged the comfortable win for the Super Eagles, noting that coach Jose Peseiro must be pleased with his team’s performance.
