The Super Eagles are set to engage in a friendly match against Guinea as part of their preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. While Burkina Faso was initially considered, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalized an agreement with their Guinean counterparts.
Scheduled for January 9 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the warm-up game aligns with the training activities of both the Super Eagles and the Syli Nationale of Guinea, who are also gearing up for the upcoming competition in Abu Dhabi.
The Super Eagles will return to Nigeria on the next day en route to Abidjan. Their first official match is slated for Sunday, January 14, against Equatorial Guinea.
