Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has said his team’s concentration and readiness for the upcoming quarter-final clash against the Palancas Negras of Angola.
The Nigerian team commenced preparations for the crucial match on Monday after taking a rest day on Sunday.
The training session unfolded at the Police College, Cocody, Abidjan.
Addressing reporters after the training session, Coach Peseiro expressed his optimism and confidence in the team’s preparation.
He stated, “We are looking forward to the game against Angola. Everyone has rested well after the game against Cameroon.”
He assured that the team will be well-prepared for the upcoming match and is optimistic about achieving a positive result.
Peseiro stressed the importance of taking it “game by game” while maintaining a consistent target.
The Super Eagles secured their spot in the quarter-finals by defeating the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 2-0 last weekend.
