AFCON 2025: List of top goal-scorers so far

Morocco forward Brahim Díaz has emerged as the leading goalscorer at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

Díaz currently tops the scoring chart with five goals, placing him one goal ahead of Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, who has four strikes to his name.

The development follows Nigeria’s 2–0 victory over Algeria in their quarter-final encounter on Saturday evening, a result that secured the Super Eagles a place in the semi-finals.

Nigeria are now set to clash with hosts Morocco in the last four of the competition, setting up a high-profile encounter between Osimhen and the tournament’s leading scorer, Díaz.

Meanwhile, Egypt will face Ivory Coast later on Saturday night, with the winner expected to meet Senegal in the semi-final stage.
