Ghanaian YouTube sensation Kwadwo Sheldon, also known as Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, is not mincing words when it comes to Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
After Nigeria’s 1-0 victory against Angola in the AFCON quarter-final, Sheldon expressed his concerns in a video post on his X account. “Congratulations to Nigerians, they are through to the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations,” he acknowledged before making a bold statement.
Sheldon emphasized, “I’m here to tell you that we can’t allow Nigerians to win the Africa Cup of Nations because if they do, we are dead. We are gone.” Drawing a humorous analogy, he playfully mentioned the ongoing “jollof rice” competition, suggesting that adding an AFCON trophy to Nigeria’s achievements would be overwhelming.
“Imagine they add AFCON trophy and Afrobeat. The internet wouldn’t be able to contain us,” he lamented, highlighting the spirited banter between Ghana and Nigeria.
