President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Bashir Ahmad as Special Assistant on Digital Communications.
Ahmad had resigned as Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media to contest house of reps ticket in Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency, Kano, but lost woefully.
The ‘Twitter warrior’ had since remained jobless.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, confirmed the appointment in a letter of appointment addressed to Ahmad, dated July 20, 2022.
Mustapha said the appointment took effect from July 19, 2022.
