Barely 24 hours after unknown gunmen abducted and killed the Nasarawa State chairman of APC, another similar incident has occured.
It will be recalled that APC chairman, Phillip Shekwo, was on Saturday night abducted and killed by a yet to be identified gunmen.
The latest attack took place in Agwada, the headquarters of Agwada development area in Kokona LG, involving one Alh Kankau, a Fulani man and his family members.
An eyewitness told our reporter that the Gunmen numbering about 12 stormed the house of Kankau, by 2am on Sunday and shot sporadically, before whisking away his two children.
In addition he said they killed one of his sons and injured two of his wives, who are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi.
When contacted, the executive chairman of Kokona LG, Saidu Kurki, who confirmed the story to our correspondent on phone, declined further comments.
On his part the overseer of Agwada development area, Mukailu Salihu, who also confirmed the incident on phone, said 52 empty shells of bullets were found by Police on the scene of the attack.
