Gunmen on Friday, attacked Ogbunabali community in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State, killing one.
The gunmen reportedly stormed the area shooting sporadically for an hour, leading to the death of a man identified as Obinna Chima Nwogbu.
According to Daily Post, the deceased who hailed from Rumuji community in Emohua Local Government Area of the state was hit by a bullet but was said not to be the target of the gunmen.
It was also gathered that the remains of the victim is still at the scene of the attack at the time of filing this report.
The Rivers State Police Command is yet to react to the incident.
