Again, Tinubu jets out of Nigeria for Qatar

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to depart Lagos State for a business forum in Qatar, as announced on the official X handle of the Presidency Nigeria on Thursday, February 29, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Upon an invitation from the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Tinubu will be visiting the country to participate in the business and investment forum.

The statement from the Presidency reads: “President Tinubu honours invitation to visit Qatar and participate in business and investment forum”.

Earlier, there was a statement indicating Qatar’s rejection of the business forum trip, citing a lack of signed agreement between the state of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Nigeria on investment and promotion.
