Agatu LGA Council Boss blows hot over killing of ex-corps member in Otukpo, reveals what will happen to perpetrators

Following the grusome murder of the ex-corps Member, an indigine of Agatu, by unknown gunmen at Otukpo on Tuesday 2nd March 2021, the Executive Chairman Agatu LGC Hon Adoyi Suleiman has condemed the unfortunate killing of his daughter, saying it was babarric, unwarranted and uncalled.

The visibly bittered Agatu Council Chairman while speaking to journalist in a telephone conversation after his discussion with his Otukpo counterpart said, himself and Hon George Alli, have since reported the matter to the police and gave the security men 24 hours to bring the pepetrator of the dastardly act to book, to serve as deterrent to others. “Security of lives and properties is our number one priority, as far as we are at the helm of affairs at the Local Government level, our administration will not tolerate any form of criminalities, the live of every Agatu person and Nigerian matters”, Adoyi reechoed.

He urged the bereaved family and the good people of Agatu to remain calm as security have been briefed and those behind the terrible act would be arrested and prosecuted, he said.

It will be recalled that, unidentified gunmen murdered one Mary Ali an indigine of Agatu from Usha village who was doing business in Otukpo in a cold blood, the business according to neighbours, was booming seriously at Ochito-Gana area of Otukpo after the unfortunate incident occurred.
