James Oche Committed to Ado Road Infrastructure, Tasks Contractors to Return to Site
James Oche, the Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State has urged contractors handling the Igumale-Agila road project to return to site and speed up the work.
This was communicated in a correspondence personally written by the chairman and submitted to the headquarters of the contractor-company. James Oche stated that, in the height of the rains, the engineers took a break, promising to return in October when the rain subsided but have failed to do so.
He noted with displeasure that, it was already November and the contractors were yet to return to site. He further stated the economic importance of the road to Ado communities could not be overemphasized.
You may wish to recall that, while holding sway as caretaker chairman of Ado Local Government, James Oche initiated the rural roads rehabilitation agenda, a move that impressed the governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom into awarding a contract for the proper construction of the road.
Oche has vowed that, his administration would do all it takes to ensure that, the contractors return to site and speed up the project.
