The President-elect, Maj. Gen. Muhammad Buhari (retd.), and outgoing president, Goodluck Jonathan, Friday had a closed-doors meeting inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This meeting is coming barely five days after president Jonathan had invited Gen. Buhari to come over so they could plan for the transitional event.
Jonathan made the suggestion when he called Buhari to concede defeat in the just concluded presidential poll.
The meeting, which was described as “private,” was held in the new Banquet Hall inside the President’s office.
Details of the curial meeting is still unknown.
