Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has named erstwhile Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh as the most disciplined coach he has played under.
Oliseh was appointed Coach of the Super Eagles in 2015 by the Nigeria Football Federation, he fell out with a few of the senior players in the squad, notably the team’s captain Vincent Enyeama.
The former Super Eagles captain became the fourth player from the class of 1994 to manage the Super Eagles after Austin Eguavoen, Samson Siasia and Stephen Keshi. Upon his appointment, he named Ahmed Musa the captain of the Super Eagles.
Oliseh only lost two games during his time as the gaffer of the team. Super Eagles scored 19 goals and conceded six in 14 games.
“In discipline, I will call Sunday Oliseh because I remember if you don’t have a shin guard you can’t even train so you see how strict he is.
“So definitely no matter who you, now matter where you play, no matter where you come from, Sunday Oliseh, if an academy boy plays better than you, he’s going to give him that opportunity to play in the national team so that’s the discipline that we’re talking about. Musa said to Arise News.
