The PDP Candidate for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency Hon. Barr Aida Nath Ogwuche has commiserated with the Catholic family in Idoma land particularly the Otukpo Diocese over the death of Revered Father Innocent Eje.
Hon. Aida describes the passing onto glory of Rev Fr. Eje, as a huge loss to the Idoma Community and Benue at large and not only to the Catholic Church.
Fr. Eje who was ordained in 1974 as the first Idoma Catholic Priest died on Monday in Otukpo, Benue State.
It is no doubt that the priest was a dedicated servant of God who uses his time while on earth in serving mankind.
It is regrettable that we lost a real gem who was instrumental to the growth and advancement of the Catholic Church in Idoma Nation. We will continue to miss his steadfastness in ensuring that peace prevail at all times.
While condoling his immediate family, our principal prays that may God Almighty grant the priest eternal rest and comfort the Catholic Church.
