Ajuri Ngelale: 10 things to know about Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media, Publicity

  1. Ajuri Ngelale is an editor, columnist, and accomplished investigative reporter.
  2. He was born on 12 November to Chief Precious Osaro Ngelale, a former Honourable Minister of State for Water Resources, and a German-US-born mother.
  3. Ajuri was raised in the creeks of Ogoniland in the Niger Delta.
  4. He currently serves as the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Public Affairs.
  5. Ajuri attended Government Secondary School in Port Harcourt for his secondary education.
  6. He pursued a degree in Political Science and another degree in History from the University of Kansas in the United States.
  7. He worked as a reporter for African Independent Television (AIT) News, gaining fame for his report “EAGLE EYE.”
  8. Ajuri also spent time with Channels TV, where he worked as a TV presenter, producer, and senior news correspondent.
  9. He is the author of two books: “Struggle for Nigeria’s Soul” and “Buhari: From General to President.”
  10. Ajuri Ngelale is a staunch defender of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and policies, and he has appeared in various media outlets to advocate for the president both locally and internationally.
