Akume collected money from Miyetti Allah, promised to cause havoc in Benue – Gov. Ortom

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has accused Sen. Akume of collecting money from Miyetti Allah to deliver Benue state to them.

The governor who made the claim during his consultation visit to old Otukpo local government which now consist of Otukpo, Ohimini, Apa and Agatu local government areas at Double K resort Otukpo described Akume as a Miyetti Allah senator saying that He (Akume) was receiving bribe from the herdsmen association on behalf of the entire Benue people.

Ortom also accused the Senator of threatening to disrupt the peace of Benue state adding that Akume has no respect for due process and the rule of law

He accused the senator and his party, APC, of being fortune seekers determined to foist havoc on the state to achieve their political goals.
