The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue South Senatorial Zone has announced the official date for the decamping/reception ceremony of Hon. Mrs. Blessing Onuh, member, House of Representatives for Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency into the APC.
The date is Saturday, 12th December, 2020.
According to Ahaji Mohammed Hassan, the Publicity Committee Chairman of the APC, the Chairman of the occasion is Senator Jack Tilley Gyado with the Hon. Speaker, House of Representatives, rt. Hon. Olufemi Gbajabiamila as the dist. Guest of honour while the chairman, National Caretaker Committee, Governor Bunu Mai Bunu is expected to receive the hon. Mrs Onu and thousands of decamped from APGA and PDP.
Other special guests expected to attend the grand occasion are the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Muhammed Wase, Federal legislators, the minister of special duties and the leader of APC in Benue state Sen George Akume as well as the Minister for Humanitarian activities, Hajia Sadia Farouq and Governor Ganduje of Kano State.
A statement by the Zonal caretaker committee chairman of the part, Alhaji Muha Hassan said the occasion which would take place at the St. Mary’s primary school Otukpo playground would be rounded off with a gala night later in the day.
It urged all party faithful to turn out and receive thousands of APGA and PDP members decamping to the APC along with Hon. Mrs Blessing Onuh.
