Alaba International Market riot update: 50 shot as traders, transporters clash

No fewer than 50 people have been reportedly shot in a mayhem that erupted at the famous Alaba International Market, Ojo Lagos.

It was gathered that the irate traders, who are mostly Igbos at the market, are battling members of notorious road transport workers giving them problems at the market.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the market has been closed down while security men are on ground to restore normalcy.

The injured have been taken to private hospitals around Ojo for treatment.
