The leadership of the Ochetoha K’Idoma Youth Wing (Idoma National Forum Youth Wing) has sympathized with the people of Alan over the fire outbreak at Akwete that affected no fewer than 18 houses.
The group called on all well meaning sons and daughters of the Idoma Nation to reach out victims of the fire disaster brethren this trying time.
Gideon Obande, President of the youth wing in a statement said, the sad incidence at this trying time has displaced a lot of families, we therefore call on government at all levels and those carrying the people’s mandate to move in and support them at this season of grief.
He said, “I wish to salute the proactive step by the people’s chairman Rt Hon George Alli towards ensuring that our people gets a shoulder to lean on, let us keep in mind that an injury to one is an injury to all and humanity is lost without love.”
