Alia Care Program training schedule released

The Ministry of Cooperatives, Urban and Rural Development has unveiled the schedule for the training of Chairpersons and Secretaries of Associations and Cooperatives participating in the Alia Care Program. The training is set to be conducted in all three Senatorial Zones of the State according to the following plan:

ZONE A:

  • Day 1: Thursday, 19th October, 2023.
    • Venue: Vandeikya Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Vandeikya, Kwande, and Ushongo Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.
  • Day 2: Friday, 20th October, 2023.
    • Venue: Vandeikya Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Konshisha, Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.

ZONE B:

  • Day 3: Monday, 23rd October, 2023.
    • Venue: Gboko Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Makurdi, Guma, Gwer West, and Gwer East Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.
  • Day 4: Tuesday, 24th October, 2023.
    • Venue: Gboko Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Tarka, Gboko, and Buruku Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.

ZONE C:

  • Day 5: Wednesday, 25th October, 2023.
    • Venue: Otukpo Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Otukpo, Ohimini, Oju, and Obi Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.
  • Day 6: Thursday, 26th October, 2023.
    • Venue: Otukpo Local Government Secretariat
    • Participants: Presidents/Chairmen and Secretaries of various Associations/Cooperative Societies from Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo, Apa, and Agatu Local Government Areas.
    • Time: 10am – 2pm.

NOTE: The timetable for council ward to council ward training for all members of the Associations across the State will be released immediately after this initial batch of training. All members of the various Associations are urged to take note of this and prepare accordingly.
