The Benue State Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has called for the reinstatement of Dr. Aondona Mkor back to his office and last rank.
Dr. Aondona Mkor one of the lecturers of the varsity, in the Political science department was reportedly sacked last year.
The call is one of the decisions of the Special Ethics Committee of the union on Wednesday June 26th, 2019 after a careful review on the decision of the Zack Gundu-led Governing Council of the university to sack Dr. Mkor, Lecturer 1.
The ASUU committee described the decision of the Governing Council and the allegation of sexual harassment against Dr. Mkor Aondona as unfounded, illegal and a case of high handedness on the part of the council.
