Ameh Michael Oboni: Profile of the first Attah of Igala to have one wife

It is no longer news that the paramount ruler of Igala Kingdom, Chief Ameh Michael Oboni, has gone on hunting expedition.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the Attah joined a meeting with his ancestors on Thursday morning.

It is important to note that Chief Oboni, who ascended the throne in December 2012 is the first Attah in the history of Igala to have one wife.

He made the confirmation in a recent interview, “I have chosen to stay with one wife because one wife is even too many. I am the first Attah in history to stay with one wife and I am comfortable with that.”

Before his ascension to the throne, the monarch retired as deputy acting director from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
