Renowned rapper Nicki Minaj has publicly shared her admiration for Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid.
In a recent broadcast on StationHead, the ‘Queen of Rap’ spoke highly of Wizkid, stating she holds him in “much love and respect.” She praised the ‘Ojuelegba’ star as “very chill and smart.”
Minaj remarked, “He [Wizkid] is really cool and relaxed. He’s incredibly smart. I have a lot of love and respect for him.”
She also mentioned that they first met while she was working on her 2018 album ‘Queen’ at a studio in Queens, New York.
Although there have been longstanding rumors of a potential collaboration between Wizkid and Nicki Minaj, they have yet to release any joint music or confirm the existence of an unreleased track together.
