Andrea Belotti signs one-year deal with Roma

Andrea Belotti has officially signed a one-year contract with Roma.

The Italian international joins Nemanja Matic, Mile Svilar, Zeki Celik, Paulo Dybala, and Georginio Wijnaldum, as the Giallorossi’s sixth addition during the summer. Depending on his performance, Belotti might be eligible for a contract extension with the Eternal City club.

Belotti, who left Torino in June, after his contract ran out, joins the team after a productive seven-year stay with Il Toro, where he scored 113 goals in 251 games in all competitions.

The 28-year-old Euro 2020 winner will improve Jose Mourinho’s attacking options by giving Dybala, Tammy Abraham and Eldor Shomurodov, competition and he is eager to start working in the Italian capital telling the club’s website: “The ambitions and growth of Roma are there for all to see, and have exerted an incredible fascination in me.”

When the Giallorossi welcome Monza to the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A on Tuesday, Belotti will be available to make his Roma debut.
