Security personnel have set on fire some motorcycles confiscated at Kyado, Ukum Local Govt Area of Benue State.
It was gathered that the security agents were acting on instruction from Makurdi, the state capital.
Recall that the state government had recently placed a ban on operation of motorcycles, otherwise known as okada in some areas of the state.
The government hinged its reason on the recent unrest in the affected areas.
The government ordered security agencies to seize any motorcycle that violates the law.
However, in a clear show of power, the seized bikes when set on fire despite the pleas by their owners.
