Angry constituents chase Niger lawmaker, Nasko with cutlass

Hon. Musa Suleiman Nasko, member of the House of Assembly representing Magama State Constituency Niger Statewas nearly lynched by angry constituents on Saturday.

It was gathered that the legislator was stoned by his constituents after he paid a condolence visit to the people of Magama over the killing of some persons including the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Nasko to commiserate with victims of banditry.

After meeting with families, religious leaders and the police in Magama, he was on his way out when he was attacked and stoned by his constituents.
