Angry mob burns suspected motorcycle snatcher to death in Benue

Angry mobs on Sunday morning burnt a suspected thief to death in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the incident happened around the popular Suswam Thank You Primary School, Wurukum.

An eyewitness, Ukan P Kurugh, said the mob served the suspected thief jungle justice after his efforts to dispose a man of his motorcycle failed.

He said, “At exactly 6.35am this morning in Makurdi the Benue state capital, a thief attempted to collect someone’s bike at gunpoint around the population Suswam Thank You Primary School wurukum, angry youth overpowered him and burnt him alive.”
