Angry protesters storm Wike’s house in Rivers

The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters have stormed the residence of former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt.

Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of FCT, had vocally opposed the protests in Abuja.

While the protests have subsided in Abuja, they continue to gain momentum in Wike’s home state.

On Tuesday, August 6, protesters gathered outside the former governor’s mansion in Port Harcourt, marking the sixth day of demonstrations.

On the first day of the protests, protesters also stormed the Government House, where they publicly embarrassed Governor Sim Fubara, who attempted to give them money for bottled water.
