Youths of Apir, a community located along the Makurdi-Otukpo road have blocked the federal road.
It was gathered that motorists have been held to a standstill for more than 10 hours as youths of the community protest the state of the road.
According to the angry youths, the dilapidated road has caused several accidents within the week with the federal government doing nothing about it.
Travelers/motorists are, however, advised to use alternative routes to their various destinations.
