Another kidnapper arrested in Benue (PHOTO)

A suspected kidnapper was on Tuesday arrested and beaten to pulp by members of Gwer East Community Joint Task Force (CJTF) in Aliade area of Benue State.

The suspect, identified as Aondolumun Nyimkaan, is said to be a native of Konshisha Local government area of the state.

He had reportedly kidnapped one Msendoo Liamzua while she was coming back from school.
Aondolumun, who found his way into the gate of St Michael’s Nursery and Primary school, Aliade and whisked away the child, was caught while sneaking into the bush path.

The kidnapper reportedly confessed to be a professional in the criminal act, disclosing that he had kidnapped other victims in Igbor area of Gwer East local government and in Gboko respectively.

A senior officer of CJTF said the family had identified the kid and that they will be reunited soon.

As at the time of this report, DAILY POST source said the suspected kidnapper had been taken to the police station, as the CJTF could not contain the reactions from the angry mob, which wanted him burnt to death.

 Meanwhile, a representative of CJTF, Mr. Mile cautioned parents and staff of the school and other schools within the state to be more vigilant and watchful over their wards.
