Lazio and Nigeria midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru escaped unscathed after being involved in a car accident in Rome over the weekend.
The 23-year-old Super Eagles star reportedly crashed his Lamborghini on Saturday evening but emerged without injuries and remains available for Lazio’s Serie A match against Inter Milan.
Lazio teammate Tijjani Noslin was present at the scene and rushed to assist Dele-Bashiru following the incident.
According to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, the midfielder was cleared to join Lazio’s squad for their Week 16 clash against Inter.
This incident makes Dele-Bashiru the second Super Eagles player to experience a car crash in recent months, following Victor Boniface’s accident in Germany.
