Any attempt to stage protest at Dunamis Church on Sunday would be met with superior rascality – MiddleBelt youths warn Sowore, Buhari Must Go protesters

The Coalition of Middlebelt Youths has warned the leader of the Buhari Must Go protesters, Omoyele Sowore, over his continuous attacks on the person and ministry of Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

The group said it would no longer watch Sowore and his unknown elements continue to drag the name of the revered cleric, Dr. Enenche and Dunamis church in the mud in his quest to gain cheap popularity.

Recall that some persons had on Sunday, July 4, 2021 staged a protest at the Glory Dome, calling for the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari from office.

However, the protesters, who were trying to disrupt church service, were arrested by security personnel on routine patrol.

Subsequently, Sowore, who has been championing the Buhari Must Go campaign, has been dragging the name of Dr. Paul Enenche in the media through his site SaharaReporters, claiming the Senior Pastor was the one who ordered their arrest and detention.

Meanwhile, the Church had in an official statement distanced the pastor and the ministry from the arrest and detention of the demonstrators.

Consequently, a group known as Take It Back Nigeria has threatened to mobilise its members to protest during services at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (Glory Dome) on Sunday, July 11.

Reacting to the threat, the Coalition of MiddleBelt Youths, warned that any attempt by Sowore and his “hungry elements” to disrupt services at the Glory Dome on Sunday would be met with superior rascality.

The group in a statement by its coordinator, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, Saturday night, described the action of Sowore as a declaration of war against Christians in northern Nigeria.

According to Ogenyi, “We have been watching the disparaging comments and media attacks on the person of Dr. Paul Enenche by Omoyele Sowore and his Buhari Must Go protesters.

“We refrained from reacting earlier because security personnel are already on top of the situation, however, our attention has been drawn to a threat by a Sowore-backed group known as Take It Back Nigeria to storm Dunamis Church this Sunday. This is madness and a joke taken too far.

“We will not watch Sowore, who is desperately looking for cheap popularity to soil the hard-earned name and reputation of Dr. Paul Enenche and the Dunamis Church.

“His action clearly shows he was sent by the enemies of the church to cause havoc in the body of Christ.

“We are warning Sowore and his elements that any attempt to stage a protest at the Glory Dome or any part of Dunamis Church nationwide would be met with equal rascality.

“We will no longer fold our arms and watch an opportunist, halfwit and a cretin like Sowore continue to drag our father in faith, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche and the Dunamis Church in the mud for selfish interest.

“We call on all our members across the 36 states of the federation to be at alert because this is a declaration of war against the church by enemies of the church and Sowore has been recruited as the anti-Christ to achieve this agenda.

“We await them. Forewarned is forearmed.”
