APC candidate rejects LG election in Benue, calls it “complete charade”

So called Benue State local government election /selection a complete charade.

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, good morning. After the just concluded charade disguised as a Local government election in Benue State, it has become eminent that we make a statement condemning in total the complete show of shame orchestrated by the renegade and irresponsible Gov. Ortom Led government of Benue state under the watchful eyes of the Benue State Independent electoral Commission Bsiec Makurdi

What happened yesterday all across Benue state was nothing more than a selection of incompetent, corrupt, unpopular and rubber stamped individuals to pilot the affairs of the 3rd their of government for the next two years in Benue State. This is a sad reality we all must come to terms with. The grand plot to sideline our great party the APC from the so called LG elections out of fear of a shameful defeat has only gone further to cement our place as the main opposition party in Benue State.

Once again Otukpo LG falls into the hands of people with out foresite, rubber stamped puppets willing to do the bidding of those who dwell in Makurdi. Once again, Otukpo LG has been placed under the cleavages of individuals who are under the watchful eyes of the EFCC and ICPC, once again, Otukpo LG has been placed under the appendage of un passionate individuals who prefer to administer the LG from far away Makurdi, one again Otukpo LG has been placed under individuals who only appear when monthly subversions are paid so as to appropriate the funds meant for the development of our LG to their personal businesses. Once again Local governments in Benue State has been placed under the most corrupt Political Party in Africa, PDP.

In as much as this injustice and murder of democracy will not hold water for long, we urge all our supporters and loyal party faithfuls to remain calm and fucused on the task ahead. This temporary setback will not deter us from bringing quality and purposeful leadership and service to our people. We want to thank all those who stood by us in this journey and on behalf of our principal Hon Cheif Angbo Kennedy Agbogo AKA2020 we say a big thank you for all the support we have received since we started this race of redemption for our people. We urge you all to remain steadfast and loyal as we lias with party officials and our legal team for more options in bringing back the power to the people.
