The Deputy Governor of Benue State, Engr Benson Abounu has described his former party as a scam that hold no future for the people of state.
Abounu spoke last Saturday at Otukpo-Icho during the decamping of over two thousand members of the All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic party.
The Deputy Governor who disclosed that he was one of the founding fathers of the PDP said he left the party because he was uncomfortable with some developments but has seen that there is no alternative to the Peoples Democratic party.

What is obtainable there is a scam. I have seen that they don’t mean well for our people and that is why I quickly make a detour back home. Like a son who left home for hunting expedition and after killing an elephant decided to bring it home for his people. I am back home for good”.
