The stage is set. The day is finally here.
After many months of postponements, coupled with intrigues and cold war, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, will hold its national convention today.
The venue is the Eagles Square, Abuja.
Today’s convention is expected to produce a new chairman that will lead the ruling party to the 2023 general elections.
This is the last convention the party would hold before the polls.
Top among the list of those aspiring for the chairmanship position are George Akume, Tanko al-Makura and Adamu Abdulahi.
Abdulahi seems to be the favourite of President Muhammadu Buhari and may likely carry the day.
IDOMA VOICE is live at the venue of the convention and will bring you live updates.
