APC presidential primary: Nobody has approached me to step down – Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare, one of the presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has faulted the report that he has been disqualified from the race.

Report emerged last week that Bakare was among the 11 aspirants that were disqualified by the presidential committee led by John Oyegun.

Speaking on Tuesday on the convention ground, Bakare said there was no official communication informing him about his disqualification.

The renowned lawyer said he is very much in the race and nobody has approached him to step down.
“Nobody has approached me to step down. I did not buy my form on social media and I shouldn’t take news on social media as the party’s official communication.

“We are here for the election.”
